When we come home from church in the morning, it is best to begin the festive meal with a blessed egg.
Because it is the lightest protein and it is more comfortable for the body to start with.

DO NOT pounce on the entire holiday table, DO NOT mix heavy foods: homemade sausages, different types of meat, fish.

Gradually add new foods throughout the week if you have been following a strict fast.

❌Don't mix all products together. This may exacerbate chronic conditions and cause discomfort.

Moderation is essential, consume small amounts of food at one time.

As far as we know, during the period of breaking the fast, emergency room calls increase. This is due to exacerbations of chronic gastrointestinal diseases (pancreatitis, cholecystitis, gastritis, and other conditions that were in remission). Be careful.

If you've never fasted before, we recommend starting with a one-day fast. Jumping straight into Lent is a significant strain on an unprepared body.
